meet the winemakers:

The Roagna family's history is deeply intertwined with the very soul of Barbaresco. Their winemaking roots run as deep as the region itself, with the family crafting their first bottles bearing the Barbaresco classification back in 1890. But their connection to the land goes even further back, with generations dedicated to cultivating the unique terroir of this prestigious region.

Throughout the 20th century, the Roagna family expanded their legacy, acquiring prized vineyard parcels like Pajé in 1953 and Pira in Barolo in 1989. Today, Luca Roagna, alongside his father Alfredo, carries on the tradition, meticulously tending to their 20 hectares of land, 12 of which are planted with vines in five distinct vineyards.

Their commitment to organic practices, massal selection, and minimal intervention ensures that each bottle expresses the true character of their old vines and the unique terroir. Experience the finesse and elegance of Roagna wines, each one a testament to their dedication to purity and tradition.
